Every time I look at this photo I think of Winston Churchill. Then today someone who saw it and said, “It looks so much like Churchill.” That’s why I named the post Churchill’s London

Imagine what it was for Lewis to sit near this window and write while looking out over this view.

I hate to admit this . . .but I forgot what we were told about these flowers. I know that the plant was rooted from a flower that was used in the wedding of one of Lewis’ friends. Perhaps, someone connected with the Lewis Foundation will stumble on this site and answer this puzzle.

Every morning Lewis would get up and go for a swim. We were told that he did this regardless of the weather! Surely, he did not do this when it was snowing.
