Wedding Flowers

I hate to admit this . . .but I forgot what we were told about these flowers. I know that the plant was rooted from a flower that was used in the wedding of one of Lewis’ friends. Perhaps, someone connected with the Lewis Foundation will stumble on this site and answer this puzzle.

A View of Lewis’ Pond

Every morning Lewis would get up and go for a swim. We were told that he did this regardless of the weather! Surely, he did not do this when it was snowing.
