Little Things Matter

This past weekend was beautiful in northeast Georgia. And Toccoa Falls is an inviting and refreshing place to visit. The area around the Falls includes over 1,000 acres of woodlands that back up to the National Forest. The path I took leads deep into the woods and parallels a cool, clear mountain stream. It is a path that the students of Toccoa Falls College often take just to get away from the pressures of campus life. But on this day, I was the only one there. Graduation is behind us and the campus awaits their return in late August.

In And Around Charing Cross

People say that on your way to heaven you will have to switch planes in Atlanta, Georgia. Well, I think the same can be said about Charing Cross. I can’t begin to count the times we changed trains at this station. It has at least five different entrances scattered along the perimeter of Trafalgar Square.

Steeple at St. Martin-in-the-Fields

I can’t remember what evening this was taken. We ended up eating at the Cafe in the Crypt at St. Martin’s a couple of times. The food was great and later, when we walked outside, the entire area was aglow with a pinkish cast. London is awesome at any time of the day or night!

Next time I’m in London, I promise I will look up more often. There is so much to see when you lift your eyes.
